In February 2005, the newly organized Washington, DC Metropolitan Area Chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC-WMAC), a non-profit 501©(6) tax-exempt membership organization was founded.  NAMC-WMAC is governed by a Board of Directors; the President manages its day-to-day operation. NAMC-WMAC’s service area compasses Washington, DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in Maryland and Northern Virginia. NMAC-WMAC has as its focus a committment to diversity, which is theme of our annual event and awards.
